Delight in this cozy spot as you snuggle up and watch the snow falling thru the windows and warm your toes in front of the fire or enjoy a movie on the the Streaming TV with complimentary hi speed WIFI internet provided for you. (Guests must have their own accounts to enjoy Streaming Services.) The chef of your group will love the practical but equipped kitchen with essentials for your home cooked meals right around the corner here on the entry level. New maple cabinets are stocked with cookware and utensils while complimenting the butcher block counter tops and dual porcelain sink. You'll find newer stainless appliances for your use and an adorable breakfast nook and table for your sit down meals together. This lower entry level of the cabin boasts the adorable hallway bathroom with a shower and laundry facilities conveniently available for those wet snow clothes or long term stays here in the mountains. Upstairs you will find both of your sleeping quarters freshly furnished and made up for your arrival with warm linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh shower towels. Outside you will find a serene alpine environment, enjoy your first cup of coffee from the adorable sun deck while enjoying the birds chirping. Infants and children do count towards this maximum occupancy limit.** **All vacation guests are required to wash their dishes and remove their trash from the property via local City Ordinance for Critters. Big Bear GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY is enforced at all times during your stay and includes removing trash from the property to local trash sites, washing dishes to alleviate wild animals being attracted to neighborhoods. Trash may be dropped off at our local Big Bear Vacations office located at 41693 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS, No Over Occupancy, No Loud Music, and No Street Parking is allowed in Big Bear homes at any time. This policy along with a rental agreement will be emailed to you immediately after booking and is REQUIRED by the City of Big Bear Lake for all rentals in Big Bear. If found in violation of these policies guests will be visited by staff and Code Enforcement officers who may or may not issue fines or evictions to the violating party members. No Smoking is allowed in any Big Bear homes. Check-in time is 4:00 pm Check-out time is 10:00 am There is no early arrival or later departure availability during peak season and holidays. (Fees Apply) Winter Snow & Parking- During winter months the driveways, steps, porches, decks, and other outdoor areas at your property may not be accessible due to snow or ice. Our teams are on fixed routes for snow and work alongside city and county resources to clear roads, driveways, walkways etc. Guests should be prepared in winter months to shovel themselves in or out of the property and off of the street in these snowstorm events. As there is no street parking allowed in Big Bear it is extremely important that guests make every attempt to get vehicles off the street for the snowplows. California Law requires that vehicles traveling to Big Bear from November thru April have snow chains in their vehicles. We also recommend having proper footwear, an emergency kit, and an extra snow shovel in your vehicles in winter months. Being a winter climate it is possible to lose power in the mountains for sometimes extended periods of time. Please note that we work closely with local authorities and will provide directions and information to all guests as soon as it is available to us. No Refunds will be made for acts of nature outside of our control including power. Pet Friendly Homes ONLY- Pets Policy Pet Fees = $40/Pet Nightly Fee + Tax ~All dogs on the property must be registered and acknowledged within your rental agreement. ~Dogs may not be left unattended in the home at any time ~Pet owners are responsible for cleanup of pets or are subject to an added cleaning fee Service Animals Are Welcome! California Penal Code: (a) Any person who knowingly and fraudulently represents himself or herself, through verbal or written notice, to be the owner or trainer of any canine licensed as, to be qualified as, or identified as, a guide, signal, or service dog, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six month, by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA. Though individually owned and decorated all homes will be equipped with clean linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy of your property. Each home has a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes, and appliances. You will find a small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags supplied upon arrival. Your home will not be supplied with specialty kitchen items or appliances, condiments or oils for cooking. There is no Pay-Per-View access or Ordering of Viewing options in any of our Big Bear homes. No refunds or credits will be made for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, power outages, snowstorms, spa malfunctions, TV or other equipment factors beyond our control. Big Bear is a mountain community located in a deep forest which is also home to many forest critters. Common animals or insects that you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects every home prior to your arrival but cannot guarantee that the home will be free of these forest animals or pests. Big Bear Vacations reserves the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
