Where Ocean Parkway falls into the ocean, you'll find a beautifully renovated little fisherman's cottage and oceanfront compound. A quaint home, a guest cottage with a attached bathroom are set around a spectacular garden, providing a beautiful place to connect with nature and your closest friends and family. It's a great launching pad for adventures in Point Reyes and West Marin, but with stunning views and a spa right on the property (hot tub, sauna) you may never want to leave! The space Completely and lovingly renovated, this is a delightful compound connecting guests to nature while providing a very comfortable nest! Want to check out more photos and see what it's actually like to spend time at the house and in Bolinas? Look up 'wherethesidewalkendsbolinas' on I G. Please reach out to us if you are interested in renting the Bo House for a long-term stay. With reliable wifi, this is the perfect place to work remotely, or completely unplug. The main house is a cozy 500 sq ft with a spacious kitchen/living room that opens to a bedroom with a queen sized bed. Large doors make the house spill onto the huge deck (the deck is bigger than the house!) for true indoor/outdoor California livin'. There is a table with a fire feature on the deck so you can be outside in almost any weather if it’s dry. If it is raining, the house is a cosy place to curl up, build a fire, play a game around the table (I have a big assortment to choose from), or watch a movie on the large projector screen. There is a beautiful bathroom with rain shower and heated stone floor. Despite how nice the bathroom is, I almost never shower indoors - instead I opt for the oversized outdoor shower. There's nothing like a steaming hot shower while you stare at the ocean or the stars. Just a few steps away is a small cottage with an additional bedroom, with a king sized bed. The cottage has a beautiful greenhouse bathroom attached, with a charming claw foot tub perfect for luxurious soaks. A luscious store of bubble bath, bath bombs, bath salts, body scrubs, etc will be available for a full spa time relaxation. The highlight of the house is definitely the view and spacious yard. At the end of the yard you can get lost starting at Mt. Tam spilling into the ocean, and at night you can see the lights of SF reflecting off of the pacific. The center of the property is an abundant garden, that should have delicious organic veggies and beautiful flowers almost year round. You are welcome to harvest a reasonable about of vegetables and flowers for your enjoyment. If you're looking to relax, look no further. We have a full spa on the property - including a hot tub, six person sauna, luxurious claw-foot soaking tub, outdoor shower, ample space to lounge in the sun, hammock and a massage table (on-site professional massages available upon request). Even if you have plenty of adventures planned throughout Pt Reyes and West Marin, you'll want to make sure you save plenty of down time to recharge and enjoy the property. If you're looking for an awesome spot to work remotely or dive into a creative project, you'll be comfortable and inspired here. Wifi is pretty reliable and capable of multiple simultaneous Zoom calls. It is worth noting that cell service can be spotty, but can usually be remedied by using your phones "calling over wifi" function. There are multiple private work spaces, including the main house, desk in the guest cottage, multiple outdoors spaces, and in the winter, there is a delightful desk in the greenhouse that allows you to be comfortable outdoors throughout the winter (greenhouse desk is unavailable March-Nov during growing season). There's no direct beach access from the house - you'll need to walk west about .5 miles to get to agate beach, or head a little over a mile into town to reach the main beach. Please note: This property is my primary residence- not a sterile and generic vacation rental. The property will be clean and ready for your arrival, but you will see signs of me in my closet, pictures, etc. Most people that visit here appreciate the personality, love, and attention that can only be found in a person’s home. Guest access You'll have the entire property to yourselves. Make yourself at home! Other things to note We have a lovely big yard with lots going on for you to enjoy. Our wonderful gardener will occasionally need to tend to seeds or plants approximately every 2-3 days depending on the season. They could show up during the stay but only in the yard and won’t bother guests at all or be inside the buildings.
