Our cozy cottage is located just off Main Street in North East, an easy walk to restaurants, shops and pubs. The cathedral ceilings and exposed rafters create an unexpectedly dramatic space you will find warm and inviting. The relaxing back deck looks down toward a creek that flows through the neighboring property. Our cottage is the perfect place to stay when you're on the road for work, or a romantic weekend (or mid-week) getaway. The space The open concept works particularly well for the small space we had to work with. It is perfect for a couple or single person, with enough room for perhaps one child as well. We think you'll love the exposed ceiling and warm natural wood tones throughout. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, except the basement. I really don't know why you'd want to go down there anyway. Other things to note Our property is down the street from the North East Fire Department. The NEFD still uses their WWII era siren to call volunteers. The siren has been part of my life since I was a kid, but guests should know it will sound from time to time.
