A private room in a unique home, impeccably maintained, and located along a peaceful rural road. It takes 10 minutes to get to the Salmon River — including Douglaston Salmon Run. We are within 100’ of the S52 Pulaski/Boylston snowmobile trail. The 2nd story bedroom has a shared guest bath nearby. Will be sharing kitchen, dining and living room areas with hosts. Plenty of on-site parking. If you are a party of 3 or 4, consider adding a stay at our "Roost" or "Respite" as well. The space Quiet, calm, and peaceful are words folks use to describe our place. Need a home base from which to work remotely or enjoy the many recreational activities the Pulaski area offers? We are conveniently located: it is 3 miles to the village of Pulaski and to Port Ontario; 18 miles to Oswego, and 4 miles to Interstate 81. Grindstone Creek, a favorite local fishing stream, is less than a mile from our home. Scenic NYS Route 3 is 1.5 miles away, will take you to local beaches and state parks as well as local fishing and great places to eat. Guest access The first floor entry has hooks for outerwear. The living room with fireplace and television are common areas as are the dining room and kitchen. A coffee bar is located on the buffet in the dining room. On the second floor, the guests are able to access their room and their bathroom. Guests are also welcome to access the elevated deck, the lawn and the fire pit area. During your stay We are people-loving people who are happy to socialize with you. We are life-long residents able to connect you with information about the area. And, we understand that our guests may want to keep to themselves—we are happy to give you all the space you need. We may be around doing household chores, working on our property, or caring for our animals. Other things to note * Covid19 considerations: Please do not come if, when you would arrive, you currently have Covid symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath); have tested positive for Covid in the past 14 days; or, have had direct exposure to a person with a confirmed case of Covid in the past 14 days. * Our guests are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare food, and the dining room or the deck area for eating.
