Featuring your own private waterfall and river front is Tarhelia Falls surrounded by 2 1/2 acres. This traditional home located in scenic western NC offers peace and tranquility. AWD drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended, to best drive up the gravel road. If you do not have 4 wheel drive I can give you tips to make it up the driveway. Please adhere to the 10 mph speed limit on the gravel road accessing the property. Other owners walk their pets at various times of the day. The space The river front lot with fire pit and seating is right on the river’s edge and is a short hike away. Enjoy fly fishing, sitting or reading as you listen to the rushing Tuckaseegee River. Enjoy the beach but remember, the safety of you and your children is your responsibility. There is also a wide variety of activities within easy driving distance to suit all ages. Outdoor activities include fly fishing, zip lines, rafting, kayaking and tubing for all skill levels. Smoky Mountain National Park is nearby for scenic views and great hiking with 3 waterfalls within the first few miles upon entering the park trails. The Smoky Mountain RR is in Bryson City. Cherokee offers a look into the culture of the Cherokee Indians. Try your luck at Harrahs and relax at the Mandara Spa. Visit historic Asheville with its art district, restaurants and shopping. After a day of exploring the area return to your hideaway to relax on the deck while gazing at the waterfall. Or play a lively game of ping pong down stairs, where there are four single beds, full bath, kitchen with mini fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker & microwave. Upstairs has a full kitchen, television, washer and dryer, half bath, and queen master bedroom with full bath. The master bath features grab bars at toilet and shower. Guest access For your safety, sitting, standing or playing in the waterfall is strictly prohibited. Other things to note Keurig coffe pods are not provided.
