Less than a 5 minute drive to Adventures on the Gorge, Swiftwater General Store, and the American Alpine Club Climber's Campground. A 5-minute drive into Fayetteville over the New River Gorge Bridge. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap on the front or back porch and relax after a day of adventuring around the New River Gorge National Park. The space The home sits on an acre of land with two covered porch areas for outdoor dining and relaxing. The floor plan is great for couples and families, with two bedrooms on the opposite sides of the home offering privacy. As you walk into the front door, you enter the dining room which has a table for four to share meals or for use as a workspace. There is also a futon sofa that can be used for additional sleeping arrangements. The living room in the center of the home has a huge wrap-around sectional sofa, perfect for watching a movie on the 48” TV or curling with a good book. The kitchen is fully stocked with an electric stove and all the cookware to prepare meals. The refrigerator/freezer has an ice maker and filtered water, and the large double sink overlooks the side yard. In the kitchen you’ll also find a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, and electric kettle. Coffee and tea are provided along with basic kitchen oils, spices, and sweeteners. There's one spacious bathroom with a shower/bathtub. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and basic toiletries are provided. Guest access You'll have full access to the house, including keyed entry to the laundry room on the back porch. Other things to note The home is located on a secondary road on a dead end street with no through traffic. You will find ample off street parking in the driveway for multiple vehicles and/or room for a small travel trailer. There is 30amp power to charge your rv battery if needed. This is a residential community but the closest neighbors are 50 yards away and are quiet. If you need last-minute items, the Swiftwater General store is within walking distance and has many staples available as well as prepared breakfast and lunch at their takeaway window. Adventures on the Gorge is also less than a mile away and has many options for food and outdoor activities.
