For $7 you can enter the state park 2 miles down the road and enjoy a sandy beach. During Covid the State Park is requiring a day ahead reservation to enter the park. Fifteen minutes away is quaint Valley View square with Restaurants, wine tasting, shopping, and whiskey distillery. Or, head north on I35 for 30 minutes into Oklahoma and visit the Winstar casino. Other things to note Currently we are letting our guest know of 2 additional items. Because of the current drought situation in North Texas our pond is low and fishing is not available in the pond on the property. Second, we are currently having struggles with Burweed stickers in the front yard. The burrs are getting carried into the house on the pets that come to visit. We are asking for your understanding while we are treating the grass to get rid of this issue but it can take some time.
