This is an extremely private tenting campsite located on one of the most popular lakes in Downeast Maine, 9 mile long Toddy Pond. This site includes a brand new 10x12 tenting platform nestled in between large fern covered boulders. There are numerous places to pitch a tent just feet from the pond. Also, included is a one room cabin with a full size bed that can be used in the event of rain. Bring your own pillow and bedding. This rustic cabin also has power and a mini frig. The space Park and follow a well-marked 150-foot trail down to the lakeside campsite. The rustic cabin is halfway down the trail and is followed by a short foot bridge that leads to enormous boulders. Nestled within the rocks is the tenting platform that looks down on a fire pit and seating area by the lake. Included in the rental is a propane gas grill, 2 kayaks with life jackets, some on-site fire wood and a porta potty located at the trail head and parking area. Solar lights will be located along parts of the trail too. Guest access 2 kayaks and lifejackets included in the rental, Kayak and swim at your own risk. lifejackets must be worn while using the kayaks and Maine boating laws followed.
