Located in an active setting a half block away from picturesque Main Street Hummelstown, this townhome is perfect for large families, bachelorette weekend wine trips, wedding parties and professional groups. We strive to provide a comfortable, clean and cost-effective option for families or groups wanting to stay together in the heart of a charming small town, downtown. Our home is 123 years old, and family-friendly. Though greatly cared for, it shows its age in some places so expect to find some loving wear both inside and outside. There is laundry on-site, a nice porch, and a fenced in back yard to enjoy a comfortable evening cooking on the grill. Come visit "The Sweetest Place on Earth, Hershey" Bedroom 1 is a pass through to bedrooms 2 & 3. Bedroom 3 is a fully-permitted, converted third floor attic space. There is full head clearance for most of the square footage; one wall has a sloped attic ceiling. Bathroom and all bedrooms are on the second and third floors. This home was built in 1900. Living spaces have been updated and we continue to make improvements to the amenities on a regular basis; however, if you’re taller than 6’5, stairs pose challenges, or you're expecting a new build, this may not be a comfortable stay for you. As with all places in Hummelstown, you will be able to hear the passing trains. We find it charming, but for your comfort, sound machines are available in all the bedrooms. Mattresses are gel and green tea infused memory foam. These are the same style of mattresses we personally have in our own home. They are rated for side-sleepers, but are more on the firm side. There is one dedicated gravel parking space for the home. Unrestricted street parking is available 600ft. away from the home. Need more space or looking for a multi family getaway, inquire about the adjoining townhome, which sleeps 11.
