When you sit on the deck with your cup of coffee in the morning, all you see is river and trees & hills...and birds-chickadees to eagles. In the late fall through winter and into early spring, we watch the deer cross the river from the river bank to our yard. Breathtaking...relaxing...peaceful. Perfect for snowmobiling & ATV w/trail access , not to mention hiking & star-gazing. The space If you love the concept of a tiny cabin --- this is it! Please come enjoy this well-appointed space where you can enjoy the outside (birds, trails, sky, stars) as well as the inside (cozy & relaxing)! If you enjoy snowmobiling, we have plenty of space for trailers big & small. Trail access from the yard is a plus! Guest access Feel free to arrive anytime after 3 p.m. Let yourself in and make yourself at home! The entire space is for you to enjoy uninterrupted peace & quiet! Other things to note As we are located 30 miles from the local grocery store, IT IS IMPORTANT to plan your food accordingly. Allagash is home to a locally owned & operated Two Rivers Lunch which offers a large menu for your food needs. Please plan ahead to pick up your foodstuff needs in Fort Kent before coming to Allagash! This will allow you more time to enjoy the great outdoors & the peace & quiet that Northern Maine has to offer.
