The house derives its name from a family story: The owner's grandfather had two massive oak trees in his yard. When he took the kids riding at night they would ask where he was taking them next and his reply was "Dos Oakies"... for his two trees. The kids were too little to realize that he was taking them back home. The name is very fitting for this Concan rental as there are numerous pairs of huge oaks on the property. Enter through a gate into a beautiful courtyard. The pool is the center attraction and is surrounded by the main house, casita and outdoor cabana. Through the back gate are the giant oak trees with a wonderful sitting area around a fire pit. Dos Oakes is just the ticket for a family vacation, getaway with friends, sisters or girlfriends’ weekend, small church retreat, motorcyclists, bicyclists, golfers, hunting group, or just a spacious home for several couples. Management provides: pillows, comforters, mattress pads, and all other bed linens (see below), 2 trash bags, one roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, 3 pods for dishwasher, liquid dish soap, and shrink-wrapped hand soap for each bathroom *Effective 1/1/24, we will not be providing towels to guests, including bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels for the kitchen and restroom, and bath mats. Guests will be responsible for bringing these items. We are proud to be able to continue to provide bed sheets, including flat sheets, fitted sheets, and pillowcases for all beds. Linen fees have been adjusted accordingly to only reflect sheet rental and prices have been set based on house size and number of beds in the home.
