This (almost) 100 year old brick house in Poughkeepsie/Hyde Park is full of old world charm. 1.5 hours from Manhattan, home is 5 minutes from Culinary Institute of America, and close to Rhinebeck and dozens of other Hudson Valley attractions. The space Kitchen: Are you a recreational cook or studying at the Culinary Institute of America right down the road? The kitchen is stocked with a variety of oils, vinegars, baking supplies, lots of spices, and plenty of high end cookware. For those who require a high quality cup of coffee, we have a KitchenAid Pour Over Coffee Brewer and an espresso machine. Dishwasher makes for easy clean up. Living Room: Cozy up in front of the electric fireplace when night falls and choose from a variety of board games or watch your favorite programs on Netflix or Hulu. If you are feeling festive, gather round the Baldwin Acrosonic piano for a sing along. Sleeping: There are three bedrooms upstairs. The children's bedroom has a trundle bed and sleeps two. The other two bedrooms are full and queen size beds respectively. The sunroom has a queen size sofa bed. Bathroom: We want you to have a hotel quality experience in the comfort of home. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap and toothpaste are provided along with clean linens. The outdoors: The home is a good distance from neighbors on either side and is across the street from a wooded area, giving the house a very private, secluded feel. There is a lovely front and a backyard for lounging. Help yourself to the Weber grill in the garage if you are in the mood for BBQ! There you will also find several a picnic table and lawn chairs for lounging. Basement: There is a washer and dryer for your use. Guest access The space is all yours with the exception of the closet in the child's bedroom. Feel free to make use of closets and dressers in the bedrooms - they will be cleared out and ready for your things. Other things to note - There is a grill in the garage if you would like to BBQ in the back yard. - We have Netflix and Hulu for your viewing enjoyment. We do not have cable/network TV.
