The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace. The space The cottage is completely secluded, and you will be 100% alone. No owner or neighbors to disturb you. As the 18th century stone house is situated directly in the green fields and hills of some of France’s prettiest countryside, you can relax in and around the remote farmhouse for days without being disturbed. There is a variety of wildlife to be found around the house: deer, owls, wild hogs, foxes, and hares. After a day exploring the great outdoors, you can retreat to the farmhouse to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Relax inside at the wood stove or outside on the covered terrace enjoying the beautiful view at the valley or your private garden. Or drive your car from the parking in front of the house off the driveway to the world-famous Normandy sightseeing spots in the area: Mont Saint-Michel, the monastery on the island in the bay, Avranches with its castle and relics, the sandy beaches of Jullouville and Granville, the world-famous Normandy cuisine, the Omaha D-Day Landing Beaches and Museums in Caen and Bayeux, the Parc Naturel Normandie-Maine, the tapestry of Bayeux, the medieval cities of Domfront, Saint Malo, Fougères and Falaise with the castle of William the Conqueror. The islands Guernsey and Jersey. There are many flea markets, small markets, and good restaurants in the area. The cottage is simple but charming. It is ideal for nature lovers and hikers. The cottage has a living room with kitchen, a large bedroom on the 1st floor, a small 2nd bedroom, a large covered terrace and a bathroom with bath and toilet. There is electricity and hot (drinking) water, 4G internet signal, heating and air-conditioning in the rooms via a heat pump system, a washing machine, a wood stove, a gas stove with an oven, and a fridge with a freezer. Bed linen and towels are not provided, but gas, wood (!), water and electricity are included in the price. Guest access You will have full access to the entire house and the surrounding terrain. You can drive your car up the driveway and park in front of the house.
