Skiing and snowmobiling just minutes away! This home is located very close to the River (although not visible through the trees) on a dead-end road in the rural countryside a few miles South of Prescott. There is enough seclusion that, even in winter, when the trees have dropped their leaves, it is difficult to see any neighboring houses. The town of Prescott is only a six-minute drive away (please note posted speed limits, which are often overlooked, but strictly enforced). The space The home is spacious, comfortable, and clean, with plenty of room to move about, but also cozy enough to light a fire, curl up to watch a movie, or enjoy a quiet family dinner prepared in the well-appointed kitchen. On the patio, you’ll find a bonfire pit and grill for cooking out. Guest access Access to the home is provided by means of a keyless entry code that is unique for each reservation. The entire house is available for your use with a very few exceptions. The basement, furnace room, and storage closet/staging room are locked, as they have no guest utility. Other things to note Please review the House Rules, especially with respect to the pet policy, fireworks, etc. The indoor wood-burning fireplace is available only upon request. (Some guests have been unable to properly operate the flue, resulting in significant smoke in the home). We have placed an electric fireplace in its place. Guests who want a wood-burning fireplace experience must notify hosts in advance of the stay (not during, because hosts may be away), and the flue will be opened and a few logs will be provided.
