Welcome to the Saint Mary's Church. You will be staying in the back unit of a newly remodeled church. Great for seasonal renters and professionals needing a place to stay! We are located in close proximity to Canandaigua, Geneva, Pen Yan, CMAC, many wineries and breweries, and several of the Finger Lakes . Hobart and William Smith is just a short drive away, as is Keuka College. Bristol Mountain is in close proximity. We allow 1 pet! The space In the Saint Mary's Church, you will find yourself in 1300 square feet of tranquility. The church was originally built on October 2nd, 1899, and it was closed on January 1st, 2011. We have strived to keep the integrity of the church and have repurposed many items from the original church throughout the unit. Our hospitality goes above and beyond! It is our job to make sure that you have the best visit that you can have! With that said, if you are coming in for a special occasion please let us know. If there is anything you need, just let us know! We are very proud to be Super Hosts and we look forward to seeing you! We are a non smoking property. We have a fully stocked kitchen with new appliances. It is stocked with basic amenities such as pots, pans, utensils, paper products, and a baking sheet. We have a Keurig coffee station with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, powdered creamer, and sugar. There is a dining bar, which seats 4 people. We also have an air fryer, toaster, and hot air popcorn maker. Under the kitchen sink you will find cleaning supplies, a dish drying mat, and a dish drying rack. All instruction manuals are located above the refrigerator in a white basket inside of the cabinet. The main living room includes comfortable seating and a flat screen TV with cable and internet. The internet is 2G and 5G available. The TV needs to be kept on HDMI1. There is an electric fireplace on the right underneath the TV, and to the left are games and cards. To the right of the TV stand is a basket with extra blankets and a FAO Schwartz 8-foot piano for your enjoyment. Please be sure to shut it off when you are done with it. The guest book is located on the table in the living room, please feel free to leave us a note about your stay! We encourage you to take a picture of yourself in the unit and we will hang it on our "Board of Memories." The bedroom has a king sized beauty rest advanced motion bed. Each nightstand has a remote for the bed. There is an oversized walk-in closet off of the bedroom with 2 luggage racks. There is a large dresser, reading nook, and writing desk. We have a writing desk in the bedroom for correspondence of any type. We encourage you to write a letter to one of our soldiers serving our country, and we will mail the letter for you. The thermostat is located in the bedroom. The bathroom has a sliding, locking barn door with a luxury walk in tiled shower, with dual spray heads and shower bench. Double vanity, stained glass church windows and mood lighting. We provide a hair dryer and first aid kit, which are located in the middle drawers of the bathroom vanity. We supply all linens, towels, and wash cloths. Basic toiletries will be on hand if needed, located on the bathroom vanity. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Dryer sheets and laundry soap are provided. Please feel free to bring your own if you like. There is a coat closet to your left as you enter the unit. There is a storage closet to your right which contains the vacuum, mop, and broom. The other supplies in the room are meant for the cleaner's use, not the guests. If you happen to need something, please refer to the house manual and give us a call. We are pet friendly. We have a large area to walk your dog behind the building. Our location is a bit unique. We are off the beaten path of being within close proximity to big box stores, etc. We are located in a quaint village with a small store, laundromat, gas station/hardware store, and post office. However, within 15 minutes, you can reach Geneva, Canandaigua, or Pen Yan. The Finger Lakes was rated number 2 from Airbnb as the top place to visit for Weekend Escapes for Wine Lovers. You will find a variety of wineries featuring Riesling, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Lemberger and Gewurtzraminer. We are about 20 minutes away from Bristol Mountain. We provide on our welcome table, and in the unit, maps of local hiking trails, kayak launch spots, and local waterfall areas to explore There is private off street parking. A short walk to a 1 mile walking trail that features 3 bridges. Guest access You will have full access to your entire apartment inside. The church has a front and rear apartment, there are no shared spaces inside. Outside there is shared parking lot, a fire pit in the summer, a area for outside sitting Other things to note There is a shared picnic table/ swing set if you walk over the wooden bridge that is directly behind the church
