A nice large bedroom with a quality queen bed & linens, a large bathroom with a double sink, tub and shower. The private entrance leads to a patio with stunning views and quiet space. There is a second sunning patio do dine and rest. PLEASE NOTE, the home next to us is doing a renovation, there may be noise on weekdays. Its out of our control, please know this when booking and accept our apology in advance. Now, more about the unit: We live in a 3 story home, the lower 1/3 is the AirBnB suite. The kitchen is small yet functional and is stocked with everything you will need to make a morning beverage or warm a meal including pots and pans, an apartment size fridge and freezer, electric cook top, an inversion microwave, coffee pot , toaster, etc. There is no dining room but we do have a small table/desk area as noted in the pictures. The sofa sleeper is a queen, Italian suede that originally retailed for $4,000, friends report its the most comfortable sofa sleeper they have ever slept on. We have a number of extra pillows that include foam, down, etc. Lots of 600 thread count sheets, blankets, towels, etc. Please remember, this is not a hotel to trash or a party suite to have, it's our home. We will thank you in advance for respecting our space & house rules so you and others can continue to enjoy all it has to offer. If you do not have any positive reviews on AirBnB , when requesting to book, please tell us more about you, your trip, your experience using a home sharing service, etc. Also, we live just up stairs, you may hear us walking about just as we may hear you downstairs, its all part of the home sharing experience. Guest access You will enjoy a private entrance, private deck and the lower floor to our home is all yours which includes a kitchenette and living room, bathroom and bedroom. The fire place has a fan and we use that to heat the downstairs. If you arrive late, it will be on upon your arrival. It heats the room quickly. There are 50 stairs, no way around that. Please consider packing lightly or in two bags, 1 large suitcase can be difficult. They are new, well built with a handrail and lit at night. Check-in's after 10pm are not allowed without prior written approval. Other things to note Your rate includes the San Mateo County, 10% TOT (Transient Occupancy Tax). Arriving after dark? No problem, just let me know. The stairs are walkway are well lit until 11pm. If you would like the sleeper sofa made up or the fire place on for extra warmth, just let us know.
