Guest access Guests have access to their rooms and the public areas and exterior grounds. There is no kitchen access but a ice freezer and mini-fridge are available and all day use of the dining room for coffee, tea and snacks. During your stay Longacre is a non-traditional bed and breakfast. Our innkeeper lives on property but we allow for our guests their privacy and self check in and check out. We are available if needed. Check in documents are left at the front door upon arrival. We appreciate notice of arrival time when possible. Other things to note There are several small restaurants in the Appomattox town and multiple fast food options. Large grocery store and many service station food options - the best Fried Chicken is at Quickie station just off Confederate blvd. Lynchburg is loaded with chain restaurants you may be familiar with and is a short 20 minute drive.
