The space Our apartment is perfect for either a short stay while visiting the area/friends/relatives, attending events or a longer-term basis. We're located in a quiet, residential neighborhood convenient by car to restaurants, shopping, supermarkets, local parks, SUNY-Broome, Binghamton University, craft brewery & local corporations. You’ll find our studio apartment to be clean & fully furnished to meet all your away-from-home needs. The apartment is most comfortable for 1-2 adult guests max. Note, as the Airbnb account holder, when you book, you are considered guest #1. There is no laundry area or service in the apartment but a laundromat is only two miles away. • Once inside you’ll enjoy an area for watching Cable TV or keeping up on your favorite Netflix, Prime or other Roku shows (using your own accounts) and using your laptop while connected to our WiFi. • The queen bed and dresser are adjacent to the living room area. The loft area can be used for additional storage which comes in handy for longer term rentals. (Please note: The loft has a sloped ceiling. The height of the loft ceiling at the railing area is only 5’ 6" and then slopes to 1' 6" at the back wall.) • The bathroom/ shower is off from the kitchen and comes complete with all the necessary towels, wash cloths, shampoo, hair dryer and toiletries. • The fully equipped kitchen has a stove/oven, sink, microwave, toaster, espresso/coffee maker, tea kettle, refrigerator, plates, glasses, silverware, pots/pans, wine/bottle openers, paper towels, dish soap and a small table with two chairs. • Off from the kitchen is a closet/storage area where you can hang your clothes and store your luggage. You'll also find extra towels, a vacuum cleaner, laundry basket and iron/ironing board. • You control your own heat and air conditioning • For longer term rentals, we prefer to maintain our guest’s privacy, therefore unlike a hotel; we provide cleaning items such as vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, etc for our guests to use so that they maintain the apartment as needed without anyone entering their space. Cleaning consumables are at the guests expense after depleting initial supplies. Guest access The apartment is attached to our house but guests have their own private entrance and driveway to the apartment. Other things to note • Our prices are fixed and do not fluctuate on holidays or when events are being held in our area. A 25% discount is applied for stays of 7 consecutive nights. • Arrival times are between 3pm -9pm. • Checkout time is between 12 noon and 1pm. • Key arrangements upon checking in. • To maintain indoor cleanliness, we ask that shoes/boots not be worn in the apartment or walking outside barefoot. If you have slippers, feel free to bring them but whatever you wear outdoors is not to be worn indoors. • Please refrain from frying or cooking with strong odors or spices as its almost impossible to remediate them before the next guests arrive. • Upon checkout, please knock on our door to hand us the keys. Knock on the door if there is anything you want to let us know about, have suggestions, or need help with. We like to make the apartment and guests stay as comfortable as possible.
