2052 is a singularly unique home in Lansing! Family run with human touches, no corporate hassle. The main floor of this A-frame has a modern kitchen, huge living/dining area, two queen bed bedrooms, and a full bath. Upstairs has the master bedroom with king bed and full bath. Patio and entry are zen gardens with a water/fire pit. Washer and Dryer. No smoking. The space This unique Mid-Century Modern home fosters both relaxation and deep creative thinking. I appreciate how wonderful a home can make people feel with the right care and investment; I hope you will find 2052 to be both a relaxing retreat and an inspiring space. I worked hard to make design choices that enhance the mid-century modern architecture, inspire creativity, and blend artfully into the community. The upstairs master bed is one of the nicest you will ever sleep in - full Talalay Latex California King. The downstairs queen beds are brand new queen memory foam. All have wonderful bamboo linens and high end super soft comforters. Downstairs, there is one large bedroom with a closet. There is also a very small room (barely large enough for the big queen bed) that is setup as a bedroom. It is small and there isn't much room to maneuver, but the bed itself is wonderful. I also have a queen airbed for two additional guests that you could setup wherever would work for you if you need to get up to 8 people. The airbed will not be set up ahead of time, so if you need it, you will need to set it up as you like. I will have sheets, pillows, and a blanket available for the airbed as well. There is wicked fast wireless internet throughout the home with speeds that average over 400mbps download and 20mbps upload. The lighting in this home is gorgeous - and it really "shines" at night. A combination of many LED candles, landscape lights, and the Hue wireless full-spectrum color lighting system allow this home to sing both day and night in two completely different ways. Please also note that one of the nicest things about this home is how open it is. There are huge windows in the main room and the light pours in in the afternoon. The windows do not have shades on them anywhere. Most people love this aspect of the house, but if you need lots of privacy in the living room, this house doesn't offer that. Upstairs is the master bedroom and bathroom. The Master bedroom is open to the rest of the house as there is no door to it at the top of the stairs (sort of like a loft). I have always felt quite private upstairs as the neighbors are far enough away and have never had issues with my own guests visiting, but If privacy is a chief concern for you in the master bedroom, please know that it lacks a door or blinds before booking Access is available up the spiral staircase. Grill There is a hardwood charcoal grill just outside the house that you are welcome to use. Guest access Self check-in is easy with a keypad on the front door. Most likely, I will not be available to greet you but check-in is very straight forward. Other things to note Please note that since I am away often, I have two cameras at the house. They only point outside and keep an eye on the carport area with vehicles.
