This hideaway on Palomar Mountain is surrounded by large oak cedar and fir trees and it’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature The space This cabin has a cozy living room with a wood burning stove and a beautiful rock wall and spacious kitchen to cook your meals. Sit and drink your coffee or tea in the sun room, looking out at the mountain side where you will see several different types of birds. The master bedroom nook with a queen size bed is tucked behind the bathroom. Climb up the attic ladder to two more sleeping spaces, a loft with another queen bed and an attic room with a twin. The cell coverage up on Palomar Mountain is hit or miss. At this cabin, we have an AT&T booster but most other carriers do not get service. Our family enjoys being disconnected from the rest of the world(as the cabin does not have internet); playing games, reading books and taking hikes. We do have a TV and a DVD player with variety movies. Our cabin located down a dirt road and 4wd is needed to drive and park at the cabin, and for all other vehicles we have parking about 400 feet up the road. When it snows, all vehicles must park up the road at the parking spot.
