The farmhouse has lots of beautiful meadows and fields surrounding it, bringing in deer and various birds. Our favorite attraction here is the stunning views and peace you feel on the property. Second highest point in York county. With 7 bedrooms the house is perfect for families to get together. We also have noise machines in all bedrooms for anyone who wishes to sleep in longer! FIRST FLOOR: Kitchen: Dishwasher microwave, coffee makers, Breville espresso machine, keurig compatible, as well as full pot brewing options, we supply starter coffee grounds as well as sugar, creamer, and K-cups variety. Full refrigerator and freezer, pantry space, some miscellaneous pantry supplies, blender, cookware, bakeware, utensils and dinnerware. Island with cooktop as well as seating for 2. Laundry room, with laundry detergent and cleaning supplies for your convenience. BEDROOM LAYOUT: Bedroom #1. First floor suite with King bed, with access to a full bathroom. This bedroom has smart tv, and a desk and chair in it. Second floor: Bedroom #2. Master with king canopy bed, Smart Tv, dresser, total en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub, shower as well as two vanities. Also a walk in closet turned nursery with crib and changing table, complete with noise machine and monitor for you to use. As well as a closet with a toddler bed, perfect for a family with small children, but non obtrusive if you occupy the suite with no children. Bonus bed, new addition is a pullout sofa, or can be a cozy seating in the private suite. Bedroom #3. King size canopy bed, Smart Tv, and dresser. With en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Full bathroom directly across hallway. 3rd Living Room: Comes with large sectional sofa and roku smart tv. Game room with ping pong table and foosball table. Also has some Kids books and toys. OUTDOOR AREAS: Garage, (not heated or conditioned) with Arcade basketball game, Giant Score4 game, Bean bags, Spikeball, Bocce Ball, storage space for guests as well as a locked supply closet, extra full refrigerator and freezer for guest convenience and extra washer and dryer. Large folding pet crate, feel free to use in garage or take inside, complete with a cozy mat. Dog bowls, options for large or small pets, as well as a pet gate for you to use in the house if you want to. Grill area: propane grill, large table with bench and chairs. Large front porch with deep seating for 8, including an egg chair. Up to 6-8 extra chairs available on the porch as well. 4-6 person hot tub on the side porch. Fire pit area with 10 Adirondack chairs and a picnic table making it very convenient to eat with children. (Or adults) We typically have chopped wood available. If you plan on having multiple fires please do bring your own firewood. Lighters and marshmallow roasting sticks in the kitchen entryway. Guests have the entire yard and house to themselves, seasonally the hay field and meadows will be accessed by local farmers for maintenance. Horses are taken care of daily so you might see activity in the meadows occasionally. Typically does not take away from the serene setting. LOCATION: Peaceful rural setting, with close proximity to Amusement parks, Amish attractions, shopping, dining, farmers markets, State Parks, golfing and the Susquehanna River with options for boat and kayak rentals. Winter stays are super cozy with plenty of space for gathering for games, or hot tubbing, or plan a day trip to the nearby ski resort. Lancaster is a short drive away with endless shopping opportunities. *We have cameras on the property for security purposes. Guest access Large yard for games, surrounded by meadow and hay fields, feel free to say hi to the horses if you see them! Please do not use the garage for vehicles, it is used for extra games, extra refrigerator and laundry space. Guests have the entire yard and house to themselves, seasonally the hay field and meadows will be accessed by local farmers for maintenance. Horses are taken care of daily so you might see activity in the meadows occasionally. Typically does not take away from the serene setting. The barn on the property is set away from the house allowing for lots of privacy, but you will occasionally see some activity as you pull in. Other things to note Your reservation is for your guest number only, please communicate with host if you are not able to enter more than 16 guests. We do add $35 per person per night after 16 guests. Maximum of 16 adults. *Extra guest fee will need to be paid before check in. If you do have a host approved gathering where there are additional daytime guests coming to the property, there is an event fee starting at $250. per day. PLEASE NOTE: We do allow pets, they do have to be entered on the reservation. There is a $150. fee per pet. You must always pick up after them.
