Comfort and Chickens
The Paul and Marcie House is filled with memories of my parents, my brother, and even me. I have replaced what was once paneling and dark woodwork to bring the light and airiness my mother always wished for. There are many childhood relics, including vintage Sports Illustrated magazines, comic books, 45 rpm records, Valentines from my father's elementary school years, and even a Pig Extractor from my grandparents' farm. My endearing chickens live nearby, and you'll get to sample their eggs! The space I will provide breakfast food items, though you will have to prepare the actual meal. There are plenty of dishes and pans. I would like for you to wash your dishes and clean up anything major. I will do the laundry and vacuuming after your stay is completed. The House has a full basement which has a storm shelter; please be careful going down the stairs if bad weather should occur. My brother had an extensive collection of Sports Illustrated magazines, and I have those for sale, as well as quite a few 45 rpm records. If you're interested, I'll show you my chickens. You might want to gather the eggs, hold a hen (or rooster!), let them eat dried mealworms from your hand......or just watch me do it! In the summer months, there are usually butterfly caterpillars in the garden. And, you might want to pick some herbs for one of your meals. Three cows usually spend the summers with me. Maybe they'll be here when you are! Guest access The house has a carport for parking.
