Step back in time with a stay at our rustic turn of the century Farmhouse. Set on an active urban farm, enjoy the peacefulness of the country (in an urban neighborhood) only 8 minutes from downtown. Bring the entire family to settle in to this home away from home or come for a quiet retreat with easy access to the best parts of Cincinnati. We are just 30 minutes from the Creation Museum. Sitting on 1.5 acres of shared land, you'll love the simple and rustic charm of this 1875 farmhouse! The space This is a 1 1/2 bath 3 bedroom home. Our 149 year old farmhouse has an old- time country farm feel right in the city! The detached garage, located behind the house, has been converted into a barn and houses goats, rabbits, and chickens. Owners will be in and around the garage in order to care for the animals. Interested in petting a goat or seeing our animals? We are always excited about sharing our urban farm. Just ask! Guest access Guest who stay more than 2 nights will have access to the washer and dryer. The washer and dryer are located in a stone, unfinished cellar. Due to the age of the home, the cellar is sometimes damp or takes in water with heavy rain. A raised floor in the laundry space has accommodated for this issue. Other things to note This is a great property for families with children and those who wish to have a quiet place to rest during travel. This is not a place to gather to party. Parties are strictly prohibited. Only guests who are registered through Airbnb may be on the property. For families traveling with small children, we have toys (for inside and out!), games, and books to help keep them entertained during your stay! We do have a booster seat for dining, but do not have a stroller or pack 'n play at the property. We do allow dogs, but have a two dog limit. We cannot host cats due to allergies. There is a one time $20 pet fee.
