Enjoy tranquility of jungle life away from hustle of the busy town and yet close to one of the most beautiful beaches in country. The space Beautiful “floating” studio house filled with the natural light and everything one might need to enjoy the nature and even comfortably work remotely. The bottom half of the property is the protected natural area, so you can enjoy watching howler monkeys and anteaters who come to visit often. Once the sun goes down, there are almost no cars passing by on the main road, and you can sit under sky in absolute silence and enjoy unobstructed sky view with all the stars above you. You will be 10 mins away by car or ATV from one of the most beautiful beaches - Hermosa Beach, or 20 mins away from my favorite place to enjoy sunset - El Carmen. The house has everything you need just to come with small suitcase. It also is equipped with 170Mb/20Mb fiber optic internet which stays on even during electricity outages so you can have uninterrupted video calls. The property has automated gate and keyless entry to the house. My maintenance team (who lives on the property) will be happy to help you with outdoors grill - just let me know and I’ll will get it going. Guest access Guests will have a full access to the property including house, parking/grill area. The property is shared with maintenance team - 2 guys living on the property. Other things to note You might need different type of vehicle to stay in town depending on the time of the year when you are planning to visit. Santa Teresa is a beautiful place loved by surfers, yogis, digital nomads and people who want to enjoy nature and have fun. It has two somewhat distinct seasons - "dry season" (no rainfall) between December and May, and "green season" (starts raining mildly to nonstop for few days at a time in September and October). The weather sets the rhythm of life in town, including quality of roads. There are two main roads going through town. One at the bottom, closer to the beach where all establishments are, and the second road (parallel to the town) is above in residential area. That's where my house is. The town road now has the asphalt and it's very busy throughout the whole day. The road towards my house is "dirt-packed" road, which uses a mix of dirt and crumbles of asphalt. The road to my house gets redone right at the end of the rain season every year and it's a perfect road throughout the whole dry season, but it becomes messy and gets a lot of potholes once the rain starts. If you plan to visit during dry season, regular car could be just fine, but during rain season SUV 4*4 with higher clearance or ATV is a must. I am happy to help you with rental transport arrangement based on your taste (car or ATV). One more note to consider planning your visit to Costa Rica is the electricity. The rain during wet season causes more tree branches to fall which results in frequent electricity outages. These outages can last from few minutes to almost 24 hours at a time. My house has running water (tiny stream) and candles to enjoy off the grid times.
