Welcome to River Hills Farm in beautiful Augusta, Ky. Sunsets are amazing and mornings are entertaining watching our horses and dog play. You'll have the entire house with full kitchen, living room with smart TV, 2 bedrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs, queen size beds, one orthopedic and one sealy double pillow top, bathroom with shower, washer and dryer, mudroom and plenty of closet space. Rock on the front porch or make a cozy fire in the fire pit. Most importantly, enjoy your stay! The space Enjoy the rich history our river town has to offer. We are only a minute and a half from The Baker Bird Winery. It's the largest and oldest winery in America and the only winery to have survived the Civil War. We are also just a couple minutes from downtown Augusta. There you can enjoy many restaurants, shops, touring, antiquing and live entertainment. There are many events and festivals that are held year round. Visit the 1811 Historic Jail, the oldest jail in Ky on it's original foundation. Visit the Rosemary Clooney Museum which is ran by Augusta's own Miss America 2000, Heather French Henry. Take a ferry ride on the Jenny Ann, one of the oldest ferry services still in operation on the Ohio River. Maybe you'll get lucky and be in town when one of the majestic steamboats come to our river town, operated by American Queen Voyages. Are you into ghosts? Augusta makes the list! Even had the famous ghost hunters come to our town! For those who like the taste of Bourbon, we're a great stop on the B-Line Bourbon trail. Visit the Augusta Distillery and also the Old Pogue Distillery just up the river a short 15-20 min drive in Maysville, Ky. There you can also visit the old Russel Theater and the Historic Opera House. We're only 45 miles from Cincinnati, 80 miles from Lexington and 130 miles from Louisville. So we're just a hop, skip and a jump away from horse racing, casinos, concerts, zoos, aquariums, football, baseball, basketball, you name it!!! Who knows, maybe you'll be at the right place at the right time and get to rub elbows with Augusta's George Clooney! Guest access Access the house through the front or back door. Keyless Entry. Code will be provided upon check in. Also, though there is no wifi, we do provide a smart tv. Guests can connect to their accounts -hulu, netflix, etc through hot spot on their phone. Other things to note A full list of house rules are provided in the house. Things like taking out trash, putting dirty towels in hamper, etc. You get the idea!!! Also, the gas fireplace does work, but Do Not turn it on for safety precautions. The house will be warm and cozy from the furnace! Thank you!
