Named in homage of the builder, turn of the century soda bottler & Civil War vet Captain Winfield Scott Mitchell. He built the house and he and/or family members lived in it from 1916 till 1957. Nightly rate is negotiable for long-term (30+ night) stays. . The space This particular room for rent is the middle room between the primary bedroom and a 2nd room. All are on the 2nd floor. It's the most spacious bedroom. It has bunk beds. It has a balcony facing the main road. One can enjoy the stars while taking in the fall air before a great night's rest. Locks on the rooms are very secure room to room. There are at least two locks on each interior door. It's locked while the tenet is inside, if he / she chooses, while the tenet is in the room.
