Big 2nd Floor Room with Bunk Bed & Balcony
Stay in a historic two-story craftsman built in 1916. With original beautiful hardwood floors, doors & other features you rarely find. The Mitchell House is a highly recognizable property to locals. Named in homage of the builder, turn of the century soda bottler & Civil War vet Captain Winfield Scott Mitchell. He built the house and he and/or family members lived in it from 1916 till 1957. Nightly rate is negotiable for long-term (30+ night) stays. . The space This particular room for rent is the middle room between the primary bedroom and a 2nd room. All are on the 2nd floor. It's the most spacious bedroom. It has bunk beds. It has a balcony facing the main road. One can enjoy the stars while taking in the fall air before a great night's rest. You can feel free to contact us before booking with your questions or even a virtual tour (if unoccupied). If long term, daily or monthly rate is negotiable. Locks on the rooms are very secure room to room. There are at least two locks on each interior door. It's locked while the tenet is inside, if he / she chooses, while the tenet is in the room. The owners also stay in the house. It's possible you'll hear a rooster in the morning from the neighbor a few doors down, and maybe a train in the evening coming from the station across town. However, 99.9% of the time it's an extremely peaceful and quiet neighborhood.
