The space Begin your lake vacation at our LOVELY, fully remodeled lakehouse which is situated on a beautiful lawn with 90 feet of lakefront. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating, and an entire wall of windows facing the lake. French doors lead to a new deck with two seating areas and a gas fire pit table. The campfire ring and lake is just steps away. Another set of French doors lead to a dining patio with lights strung overhead. It is a fabulous place to dine late into the evening, where you can enjoy beautiful sunset lake views. A small stream meanders under a huge willow tree. The setting is just incredible! The interior is spacious, beautifully appointed and in excellent condition w/central air built by a custom builder. The lakehouse sleeps up to 10 people: 4 bedrooms upstairs, and a first floor bedroom/dayroom holds a full-sized futon. The Master king bedroom has lake views, TV, and an en suite full bath, and new Carrara marble counters. There are three additional upstairs bedrooms: Two queen bedrooms (one w/ TV) and the 4th bedroom has a full size bed with a twin above (known as a pyramid bunk), with plenty of head space for the top bunk due to the vaulted ceiling. The pyramid bunk room has a TV and desk. The second floor has an oversized landing with a new foosball table for adults and kids alike. There are three large, full bathrooms all with new shower doors and commodes: one full master bath, another full bath with tub upstairs, and a third bathroom is located on the first floor with a walk-in shower with handheld shower fixture. (The first floor day room with full-sized futon doubles as a fifth bedroom ideal for elderly folks who cannot handle stairs to the upstairs bedrooms.) Enjoy the tasteful furnishings, artwork, Pottery Barn farm dining table that easily sits 10, fireplace, 58” smart TV, 1st floor laundry room, large entrance foyer, well-equipped kitchen with gas stove and bar, and expansive living room with wide open lake views. There are ceiling fans in every bedroom (along with central air). Our fully equipped kitchen has bar seating, a 5 burner gas stove, dishwasher, disposal, side by side refrigerator, a separate bar area, ceramic floors, and Corian counter tops. (Our spices are yours to use, although once empty, it is requested that you replenish the item.) The laundry room is is conveniently located on the first floor and is equipped with a new washer/dryer, laundry tub and counter space for folding. Outside you will find that the lake is perfect for boating, tubing, kayaking, fishing, water skiing and on and on!! There is plenty of room on our level, dry lawn to play horseshoes or bean bag toss. There are polywood Adirondack chairs around the campfire pit. We also have cornhole game set that is yours to use during your stay (which is best stashed inside when finished playing). Our aluminum dock is perfect for fishing. There are sturdy tie offs if you plan on renting a boat, and a very handy launch area for a kayak or canoe if you happen to bring one. We can also recommend several awesome restaurants within a few minutes drive! Bemus Point is also just a short drive or boat ride away!! There you will enjoy the very popular, Ellicottville Brewing Company along with many other restaurants and shops. Guest access High speed Internet-the wifi code is provided upon check-in. You will have no problems checking in at work (if you must)! The kitchen features a fully equipped kitchen: 5 burner gas range, side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal, separate bar with sink, heated cermic floors, Corian counters. Fresh bedspreads/duvets, sheets and pillows are provided. Guests should bring all bath and beach towels. Outdoor 4 burner gas grill. Outdoor propane fire table and seating for 10 on the deck. Outdoor patio dining table with lights strung overhead. Outdoor campfire ring. One bundle of firewood for the campfire is complimentary. Additional firewood is available at roadside stands and Home Depot. Small boat launch, handy for a kayak or canoe. If you are launching a motor boat, the Community Park boat launch is just a minute away. Our lakefront seawall or aluminum dock is perfect for fishing. It also feature sturdy tie-offs for a motor boat, if needed. Other things to note This SMOKE-FREE property is available for a minimum 6 six day rental during high season; check-in at 4pm, and check-out by 10AM. No pets; although we love them, one of the owners is allergic. Please note that occupancy is 10 persons. No weddings, showers or other house parties to be held on site. The security fee is $1000, to be returned if the property is left in the same condition as check-in. A $130 cleaning fee is in addition to the weekly rental fee. FEEDBACK from recent guests: "The property was top notch in every way. My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to Chautauqua with our boat in early October. The owners were very accommodating and easy to work from the initial contact and during the entire process. From the moment we arrived to the convenience of the community boat ramp being three houses down from the property we were filled with delight! The property has a nice dock where our 20ft ski boat fit nicely and we enjoyed making a trip to Bemus Point each day. The backyard had a beautiful deck with nice quality furniture, a gas fireplace and a propane heater. We were able to sit outside in the cool fall air and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset each night. There is also a nice wood burning fire pit right next to the water that we enjoyed the first night while we barbecued steaks on the gas grill. The inside of the home was clean and comfortable with attention to detail. All of the furnishings on the first floor were new and gave the feel of stepping into a high-end catalog. The kitchen was clean, updated and well stocked with everything we needed to prepare dinner. We only used one of the four bedrooms. The master bedroom overlooking the lake had a very comfortable king sized bed and a spacious updated bathroom. The other three bedrooms and two bathrooms were all tasteful, comfortable and updated as well. The house was perfect for the two of us, but would have been equally accommodating for a large family or group of friends. Wegmans, a grocery store, was a quick drive from the home. We also visited the Chautauqua Institute, made a drive to visit wineries on Lake Erie, and the Southern Tier Brewery. The location was perfect.
