Private, peaceful space in former BnB, current working flower farm. Private 2nd floor bed/bath combo with guest entrance. All the conveniences for travel professionals - on site laundry, full (shared) kitchen access, free on farm parking, multiple shared sitting rooms and sun porches for relaxing, 11 acres with mountain views. We are within 30 minutes of several healthcare facilities, including North Country Hospital in Newport. Hosts live on site (downstairs) in a separate living area. The space For longer term guests, our space has the feel of an old-timey boarding house. Hosts stay in a separate living area but are on the premises working, keeping the house clean for the guests, making coffee, chasing ducks, working the farm. Guests can mingle in the many common areas if they choose, or, have the option of keeping to themselves as the guests each have their own private space in the upstairs en-suites. For weekend and short term guests, we provide comfortable lodging conveniently located close to Jay Peak, Stowe and all of the beauty the Northeast Kingdom has to offer. Guest access In our 1894 farmhouse, our guests have a private bedroom/bath combo on the second floor. Also on the second floor is a designated work area, well stocked laundry room with w&d and lots of extra blankets, linens, etc. and large open hallway. There is a shared refrigerator for guest use (as well as access to the large kitchen downstairs). Guests can also use the dining areas, sitting room, farmer’s porch and outdoor sitting area and grounds. We have a backyard sitting area with fire pit also available. During your stay Brad and Laurel live on the premises, as does one of our sons who commutes with Brad to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center daily. Laurel works on the property and is available to offer help when necessary. We have three guest bed/bath combos upstairs - up to six guests total. Other things to note We have two farm pups (Frankie and Moonie) who have their own living area away from our guest rooms. We also have two kittens who roam the house and property practicing their mouse and ladybug hunting skills. We are open to hosting friendly, quiet, nondestructive pets who will be supervised by owners at all times.
