Welcome to our weekend house, an ideal location for an all-season vacation home!! The House is surrounded by three acres of woodland with wildlife. It is conveniently located three minutes from the trendy town of Millerton, surrounded by great restaurants and unique shops. It is also close to the Ski mountains (Mount Mohawk, Catamount), Private /Boarding schools (Hotchkiss, Salisbury, Indian Mountain, and Kent Schools), and an under 30-minute drive to Great Barrington, MA. The space The House of Maples is our beloved weekend home - where we escape from our busy city life to recharge ourselves surrounded by rustic nature. We designed the house the way we wanted it to stay - preserving its originality and making it functional with a mix of ages and art. The home is spacious and comfortable – approximately 1,800 sqft, and has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Each room has the following bed sizes, and the house can accommodate up to 7 people. The guest accesses the house by wifi lock using a keypad. You will have everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen, Wifi, and a spacious living space, which also functions well as a dedicated workspace. It makes the perfect work remote home base while enjoying local food and nature. • Bedroom 1 – one king-size bed • Bedroom 2 – one queen-size bed • Bedroom 3 – two twin-size beds + folding mattress (twin) as needed Guest access The guest can also access outdoor space, including the front yard, the side area, and the back porch. You are welcome to walk around the house, but please refrain from climbing the woodland bank. Please don’t dispose of/throw any garbage into the outdoor space. We ask the guest to remove your shoes – please bring a pair of slippers or house shoes if you prefer. Please make sure to close the doors properly, including the door screens. The house is surrounded by woodland so that bugs come in quickly. Some areas, including the basement, are marked "private" and locked. Please refrain from opening the doors/shelves/closets as those are private properties. Please make yourself at home - we look forward to welcoming you! Other things to note We don't provide refunds due to weather or natural disasters. Additional cleaning and/or linen replacement fees - 10 % of the entire stay up to 100 dollars may be incurred if linen/towels are excessively stained/damaged and replacements are required, or the property needs extra cleaning after your stay.
