Looking for a new favorite spot to make memories? This lake cabin offers a gorgeous view and plenty of space for fun on the water. Set on a small private lake, the cabin has it's own dock, hot tub, high-speed internet, fire pit, large covered porch, and includes partial access to two sides of the lake. I'm proud to offer this family property with no additional fees, and know you'll enjoy our treasured spot. The space The cabin is a 2 bedroom, one bathroom setup arranged with an open floor plan and large windows that overlook a small private lake. When you drive in, you’ll notice that it’s built up on large “stilts” like a beach house, and you can park and unload your things right underneath! Up a small flight of stairs, you’ll find a large, open covered porch perfect for observing the water, and find that inside, this is every bit of a quaint country cabin with a few modern upgrades. The full kitchen is equipped with an electric reproduction stove, as well as plenty of cooking ware and dishes for your stay. The living room boasts comfy wicker seating and a corner table for dining or sipping your morning coffee. After a full day on the water, feel free to connect over some board games or curl up for a movie. The front bedroom currently houses a comfy full bed, dresser, and a desk, while the back bedroom includes a daybed that doubles in size with the help of a hidden trundle underneath(perfect for the kids!) There is also a pack and play, high chair, and a baby seat and gate in the event that you’re traveling with a little one. Guest access You’ll love going out on the sparkling lake and seeing what waterfowl might be out on the water. Depending on the time of year you may see ducks, osprey, Canada Geese, hawks, and even a bald eagle or two. Lots of turtles, frogs, and other small wildlife can be seen and heard with a little bit of patience. In the yard, you can take walks along a few spans of shoreline and wrap up the evening with s’mores around the waterside campfire. By the end of your stay, this treasured spot is sure to become a favorite of yours as well. Other things to note Please Note: per local law, campfires cannot be started before 4pm between the dates of February 15th-April 30th. Other FAQ: -is swimming and fishing allowed on the lake? Yes, guests can fish and swim on the lake. All water activities are done at your own risk, but I personally enjoy the lake and think it's a great place to enjoy.
