Relax in the clawfoot tub after a day of travel or prepare a home-cooked meal in the well equipped kitchen. When morning comes, enjoy your coffee while cozied up in front of the fireplace. Or simply stay in bed and admire the view. With plenty of land to explore, a hike is always welcome. The choice is yours! The space MAIN FLOOR Open concept living space with mountain views. Living room includes wood burning fireplace and Smart TV with streaming capabilities (guests to use their own log-in credentials.) Fully equipped kitchen with top of the line pots and pans, oils + spices, Nespresso Vertuo capsules and ground coffee. Large first floor bedroom with clawfoot tub. Separate bathroom with corner shower stall. Bathroom includes linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, cotton rounds, cotton swabs and hairdryer. Stackable washer/dryer in utility room. Two yoga mats for use. Two-way radios for exploring. SECOND FLOOR Open loft with 2 single beds and a little reading nook. OUTDOORS Propane BBQ grill, charcoal grill, fire pit. Twin Ponds is stocked with trout. Bring your pole and enjoy a day of fishing. Guest access You have access to the entire cabin and you’re welcome to explore our almost 500 acres of land which is shared with our adjacent short term rental. Bring your own pole to fish the trout-stocked pond. Other things to note PETS: We are dog friendly (maximum 2 dog policy). Food and water bowls for use are provided. We kindly ask that you bring your own dog beds/blankets as dogs are not permitted on the furniture. CELLULAR SERVICE: Please note that cell service in rural Vermont is not the greatest. Be sure to enter the destination in GPS when you start your travels. The cabin is equipped with high speed internet. WINTER BOOKINGS: Winter is a wonderful time to visit us at The Rustic Retreat - it’s truly magical when everything is covered in snow! However, as our name implies, we’re in the mountains. What does that mean for you? We strongly encourage AWD/4WD and good winter tires.
