Guest access 1111ULU is an exceptionally rare gem, as it’s located right next to the Sacred Cave Temple of Bingin Beach. Every morning, the priest makes offering to bless the space and pray to the gods of the Sun and the Ocean. The entrance to the temple is located on the terrace, so the priest will need access each day between the morning hours. It only takes him about 5 min. Keys to the unit will be handed over to the guest at the arranged arrival time, or you will be given a passcode to access the lock. Also, as is typical for most beachfront spaces in Uluwatu, the space is accessed by a long stairwell (approximately 5 minute walk from parking). Lots of steps from parking, but just a few steps from the beach! It’s totally worth it, trust us. With that, this unit would not be ideal for those with trouble walking long distances or navigating stairs. ATTENTION - WILDLIFE THIS IS THE ISLAND OF BALI And more likely you will find: MONKEYS 🐒 Bali monkeys are notoriously curious...and sometimes invasive, if we're being honest! So be sure to share accordingly - which means keep all your valuables inside the apartment, close and lock the doors, and do not feed or play with them - otherwise they'll think what's yours is their's! SNAKES 🐍 In case you hadn't noticed: Bali is a tropical island - and unfortunately poisonous snakes come with the territory. While you will likely not see one, in the event that you do, please call our team immediately so we can have it removed safely for you. And if you have questions about the different types of snakes on the island, please refer to the internet to find more information 🙏🏼 LIZARDS/GECKOS 🦎 While we know these creatures look freaky (and are loud to boot!), they're harmless. Same with their smaller counterparts. Leave them alone and they won't mind you. And if it helps, start calling them 'baby alligators' and be reminded how tiny and cute (and non-lethal!) they are. They are actually great to keep away mosquitoes and other insects 🐜 🕷️ 🦟 STRAY DOGS 🐶 & CATS 🐱 If you're unaccustomed to seeing stray dogs and cats in your everyday neighborhood, coming to Bali can feel a bit jarring. Most of the strays are sweet and harmless, but please be reminded that rabies is still an issue on the island before you decide to pet or feed one.
