Our Dark Chocolate apartment is a private, spacious 1 bedroom unit located above our new Grocer's Daughter Chocolate gelato shop in the village of Empire, Michigan. We're nestled in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore, just 3 blocks from Empire beach. This is the perfect base camp for adventures in the park and a great location to explore the area, from Fishtown in Leelanau to Frankfort in Benzie. This apartment has a private, locked entrance, new Thuma king size bed and large patio! The space This is a new condo as of July 2022 and we're thrilled to share it with you. The apartment is airy and bright, decorated in a colorful mid-century modern style. The bedrooms and living rooms have new smart tvs. There's a full, stocked kitchen and we provide most toiletries and beach-going supplies (towels, chairs, an umbrella and small cooler). While the apartment is lovely, you'll probably spend more of your days outdoors while you're here. Reach out for suggestions! Guest access You will have access to the locked stairway to both 2nd floor apartments, the shared laundry and your private apartment/balcony with keypad lock. You're welcome to enjoy our GDC gardens, outdoor seating and fire pits, too! Other things to note This is an apartment above a gelato shop (one flight of stairs) and normal kitchen/shop noise occurs throughout the day. Business hours are 11 to 10 and the area is quiet outside of those hours. No parties allowed in the apartments. Thank you!
