Get your binoculars and sit on the lookout deck by the creek/wetlands by day, or stars by night. Plan a golf vacation to play nearby Piankatank w restaurant. Many fishing spots nearby. The space This is the perfect place to enjoy the natural, very private, remote, and great views! Bright natural light & maple floors, custom slate bathroom floors and walk in master bedroom shower. Skylights over the kitchen, dining area, and master bedroom add to the light filled space. New appliances & ample counter/prep space and a laundry/dryer/pantry area. Large windows overlooking the woods, creek, and Rappahannock River. Complimented by a gas fireplace w custom slate tilework. Ground floor, 2 new twin beds that can be combined to make a King size, and private shower/bath. 2nd floor has an open loft area serving as a 3rd bedroom, with foldout 'short-queen' bed w 3" memory foam for extra comfort. A separate master bedroom (new Queen) w attached custom slate walk-in shower! Large outdoor firepit, indoor gas fireplace. Hotspot (Verizon Jetpack) Wi-Fi for streaming on 50" Roku and computer. Not suitable for heavy file down/up loading like in work related internet. Verizon cell service is the only reliable service. If you get weak signal from another carrier, you can link to Wi-Fi. Home boast of a high end receiver w Bluetooth, and use remote to connected to TV, high end Polk speakers inside and outside, operating together, or separately. Premium coffee and tea provided. Creamer and sugar provided for 10 cup drip coffee maker. Free popcorn. Water is tested and safe, but we recommend using the large Brita pitcher/filter provided. All towels, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo are provided. All cooking pots/pans, plates, glasses/cups, some spices, condiments are also provided. Otherwise, bring your own food. There is a Food Lion 10 minutes away in Saluda, and a supermarket the same distance in Deltaville (Great ValU Foods). Numerous close-by public beaches, historic towns, and places to fish. Bring your fishing rods!!! You can get a fishing license at a nearby fishing & tackle store. While the mosquitoes do not seem so bad, we advise using mosquito repellent when outside. Guest access There is a self combo key lock box on the porch in the back. Other things to note Guest will agree to a liability waver outside the home, and NOT to go beyond the immediate yard, such as woods, and stairs going down to Mill Creek unless you agree to the wavier. Not more than 5 quest. No parties. No smoking in house or wooded porch. The firepit is a good place to smoke if you need to. Kindly park on the right as you come in either under the green tent or either side. Please do not park on the grass. Kindly unplug the hotspot (jetpack) when the battery is full. It can overheat. Please turn of when not using to preserve the data that is charged by usage. Weber charcoal barbeque can not be used on the wooden porch. Kindly dispose of ashes (only when cold). It is okay to dispose in the firepit. Bring your own charcoal, and bring your own wood for the firepit. Guest are requested to wash, dry and place all dishes, pots, cups, silverware and put back where they found them. Guest are requested to bag and tie all trash and recyclables and place in the Black Rubbermate outside by the shed. It has a lid lock. Please be sure it is secure because of the possibility of racoons or other small animals trying to get to the trash, and replace a fresh plastic bag found in the pantry. If guest have a longer stay, please take trash to Middlesex closely designated sites. While not required, we appreciate guest that strip the used bedsheets/ towels and place in the pantry or washing machine. All cleaning supplies are available at the house for folks staying longer to keep clean. Kindly sweep clean, and leave things neat and tidy. Please note that the house has 2 out door security cameras. One is facing front yard, and the other is for rear of property. There are NO in door cameras.
