Instead of the "Caseiro", the current owner's parents would religiously travel from Lisbon every fortnight to the farm to cultivate the land, plant flowers, pick fruit, clean the land, take care of the houses, make honey. Being people who were born in the countryside, they maintained and continued their childhood experiences. In its remodeling we tried our best to maintain the original architecture, and to capture the light and energy of the place.
