The perfect getaway on the Delaware River, Bluebarry Cottage is your dream come true! Water activities like kayaking, rafting, tubing, and swimming on the Delaware River are a short 5 min walk away. There are tons of hiking trails nearby and the famous Hawk’s Nest lookout is only 15 min away. Getting hungry or thirsty? There is no shortage of small towns, breweries, and vineyards to explore. This colorful home has something for everyone including a fire pit, grill, AND game room! The space This colorful and fun cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, living room, stocked kitchen, dining room, second living room with a TV, game room, and laundry area but that’s just the inside. Step outside to enjoy the large front porch with views of the Delaware River. This is our favorite spot to drink our morning coffee, listen to the birds, and the relaxing sounds of the Delaware River just below us. Walk through the house and out to the even larger back deck where you’ll find an entertainment area with a gas grill. With a large forest right behind us, you’ll have privacy while you are visiting. Enjoy the large backyard, play corn hole, and sit around the fire pit. We have a large driveway that can fit up to 5 cars so don’t worry about parking. Now let’s talk about the area. Bluebarry Cottage is perfectly situated right in the center of so many great activities! We’re right on the Delaware River so all water activities are extremely easy to access. There are also a few lakes in town. Old Minisink Battlegroud Park with walking trails is a 5 minute drive away along with a ton of other hiking trails nearby. Want to go chasing waterfalls? Because we’re right on the boarder of NY and PA you’ll get to explore both states; Raymondskill Falls is the tallest waterfall in PA, just 30 min away and you can swim there. Beautiful Three Hammer’s Winery has great wines for tasting and purchasing available. Relax on their lawn or walk the trail on their property as you sip on a bottle of wine. The famous Hawk’s Nest highway is 15 minutes away and absolutely stunning to drive through in the fall. Visiting in the winter? We’ll Ski Big Bear Resort is open all winter and less than 20 minutes away. Cozy small towns are all around the cottage. Some of our favorites include Narrowsburg, Callicoon, and Milford. Each has great restaurants, coffee shops, unique bars/breweries, and cute local shops. Guest access You’ll have access to the entire home except the garage which is used for host storage. We use a keypad lock for the front door; we’ll send you the 4-digit code the day of your check-in. Other things to note Please be aware that the majority of the home is on one-level however because we have a finished basement, the game room which includes the second bathroom, TV, foosball table, and laundry are all downstairs in the basement. No parties No pets No fireworks No more than 6 guests Because of how secluded the home is, we do have cameras on the exterior of the property. We do not monitor the house when we have guests so you can have your privacy.
