Very spacious relaxing clean and safe apartment on the 2nd floor with nearly new appliances, furniture, great views off the nice 2nd story decks. Pet friendly. BBQ grill, fire pit, and a W/D in the basement. Located on upper Onondaga Hill. I accept short and long-term bookings. I've really enjoy meeting people from different walks of life. I've hosted a SU employee single lady, a traveling MRI medical couple, a Nevada family moving to NY, an executive, and solar workers from Texas. The space Enter this upstairs apartment into the living room that has a big picture window with great view of the front yard. The livingroom has exposed beams at the ceiling. The sunken (2 steps) queen bedroom with a mini walk in closet. The small but cute horseshoe kitchen has spacious cabinets. The other bedrooms (1 being staged as the office can accommodate and air mattress if desired) are off the kitchen. The bathroom with tub/shower is near the rear door that leads to the back deck. This well built 2 family home sits on 1.58 acres. I bought it in 2015 and am always making improvements. I live downstairs, my adult daughter and I have a few dogs together. The neighbors are nice and the area is suburb/rural. Guest access Guests have a private entrance and the entire upstairs apartment, with a small deck on the front of the house with couple chairs. The larger 2nd floor back deck has 3 chairs, umbrella and gas grill. Guests have access to the basement from the outside bilco doors to use the washer and dryer. Guests can use the shared front and side yards. The back yard is fenced off for my horse and dogs. The garage is not shared for access but there is a one parking spot in front of the garage and also room in the graveled turn around. Other things to note This is a spacious peaceful area with beautiful neighboring homes and farmland behind. You may see or hear wildlife, deer, hawks, owls, song birds, squirrels or chipmunks. We are in a great spot with a nice breeze off a hill, I don't get a lot of mosquitos or flys so it's great sitting on back deck watching the sunset. We have couple dogs and a horse in the summer months that are in a fenced area and a mostly indoor cat. Please do not book if you have asthma problems or fear of animals.
