POOL/SPA HEATING : Pool and spa heating is optional and charged separately. Pool Preheat Cost: $60 or $75 (from November to February) to have the pool and Jacuzzi preheated and at full temperature for your arrival. Pool & Jacuzzi Heating Rate: $60 per night, or $75 per night (from November to February), with a 2-night minimum. This rate covers ongoing heating for both the pool and Jacuzzi. Jacuzzi-Only Heating Rate: $40 per night, with a 2-night minimum. Please note that adding pool and spa heating can be requested at the time of booking or later. To ensure the pool or Jacuzzi is preheated and ready for your arrival, notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Payments will be processed via Airbnb. ***This is a shared cost due to increasing So-Cal gas prices. *** Pool heat is set to 88°, Jacuzzi can be heated up to 104°. Higher pool temperatures of 92° or 94° upon request and additional charges. You may decide to heat the pool at time of booking or later on, just keep in mind it may take up to 24 hrs to heat-up depending on the weather and time of year. PLEASE NOTE* If you like the pool to be pre-heated and ready for your arrival, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to arrival. A two day minimum applies; payments will be handled via Airbnb. We recommend heating the pool Sept-June. The rest of the year the pool heats up on its own from the sun and pool cover. The temperature is set to 88° F /31°C. The hot tub is set to about 101 and takes 45 mins-1hour (depending on time of year) to reach this temperature. PLEASE NOTE: - Leave the cover on while heating to speed up the process and close it after use to maintain the heat. -If it's raining, please open the pool cover so that rain does not collect on the cover. - DO NOT open the cover if there is water or anything on top of the cover. Let us know and we will send maintenance out to remove the water. ADDITIONAL GUESTS: The nightly rate covers 4 guests. For additional guests, we charge a small, additional fee of $50 per night per guest. Our home can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests. If undisclosed guests are identified after the booking, a fee of $100 per guest per night will be levied. PETS: We sometimes allow small dogs, on a case-by-case basis. We charge an additional fee of $150 per pet. Please discuss your requirements with us in advance. GARDNER: Our gardener comes on Thursdays between 8am-11am for approximately 1hour. If he needs to do the backyard he enters from the side gate and is considerate of our guests. POOL MAINTENANCE Our pool cleaner comes Monday + Thursday between 12pm and 1pm for approximately 15 minutes to test the salt water and make sure the pool is pristine. ***If there is a holiday this time does change and we will do our best to notify you*** He is considerate + and comes thru the side gate. The pool can be used 20 minutes after this service.
