Miles of national forest bordering our property makes for a true “off the grid experience.” Central heat, automated by nest, and a pellet stove will keep you warm in the winter. Central A/C, although rarely needed up here in the crisp mountains, will keep you cool in the summer. Outdoor chairs are provided to allow you immerse yourselves in woods. The two decks or any of the flat areas around the cabin make a perfect place to set up your chair and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail. A propane grill is provided. Please check with the host prior to your stay to ensure fire restriction allow for its use. The living room has a recliner and a comfortable sectional with chaise and ottoman. The kitchen is outfitted with an air fryer, Keurig coffee machine compatible with K cups or grounds, pots and pan, coffee, wine and cocktail glasses are provided. Several board games, books, and a smart TV outfitted with Netflix and Prime TV give you something to do after dark. If you are bringing little ones, we have non-breakable kitchenware, a pack and play, a high chair, and a super sized Lego set safe for all ages. Other things to note The driveway is gravel, however has been recently renovated with new gravel and grading. It can be steep like all mountain properties in this area. Snow is possible from late November- early March. We have exterior cameras which are able to monitor conditions. The private road can be difficult to navigate without four wheel drive if snow is present. We will inform you if snow is present prior to your arrival. We will provide one snow removal per visit. However if it snows multiple times throughout your stay, this cost will be shared between guest and host. We do have snow shovels available on the premises.
