We aim to make your vacation a delight. Our classic Maine home, while not directly on the water, is a short drive to all the Southern Maine seacoast has to offer. It's a unique, architecturally-designed Raeside Dame colonial reproduction in a friendly, tranquil neighborhood with classic New England homes. It's a spacious 2100 sf+, stand-alone home with three bedrooms and an office with a sofa bed, three baths, rich wide-pine floors throughout, exposed timber beams, large south-facing windows and modern conveniences including a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, Vermont Castings wood stove, Hubardton Forge lighting, patio table hand made by artist Nellie Olson , art, and a romantic gas fireplace. We have a lush 1.5 acre garden, gorgeous stone patio, and screened-in porch where you can watch hummingbirds, experience outdoor dining, cook on our Webber grill and eat al-fresco. We do have a gardener care for our plants when we're away; she typically comes after check out but occasionally works mid week when needed especially through dry spells. We try to be energy efficient and have a full array of solar panels (tied to the grid so you always have full electricity) and a Level 2 charge station for electric vehicles. We offer Body Spa and Eco toiletries and Myers cleaning products. Two of our bedrooms have queen beds and AC. A third bedroom has a new full-sized bed and new mattress with an-suite bath and bathtub and AC. It can also also accommodate an Innex Queen Ultra Plush plug-in mattress as a fifth bed if needed. The fourth bedroom can serve as an office or bedroom with a full sofa bed and AC. Guest access Guest can fully access our home (with a lockbox), inclusive use of 1.5 acre gardens, and ample off-street parking for four cars. Guests are restricted from using our garage unless otherwise discussed. We have a quiet tenant who lives in an apartment above the garage and will not interact with guests. Our tenant's separate apartment has its own entrance and parking. Please no off street parking. Other things to note We welcome guests who are respectful of property. As this is our primary home. We do not allow parties or indoor smoking. We do value diversity—love lives here. Please no more than six guest allowed on the premises. We do have an (outside only) security system and camera at the front door to insure this is followed. Please let us know if you would like to bring in more guests than listed as this is our private home and not an investment property. Please no pets. We have a family member with allergies. We live on our boat, sailing through much of the summer. We will likely be available by text, phone, and email only. We hope you love Maine as much as we do!
