Once on Hill Top Heights the pavement turns into a (10mph) gravel road that feels like a path in the forest. The entry to Hill Top Lodging to the right, is lit up by twinkling lights in the forest. Follow the signs to the Lodge to the right. The Lodge though large feels rustic cozy. The 4 bedrooms with on suite baths ensure privacy. Enjoy cooking together in a well-equipped large kitchen and outdoor charcoal grill. Dine together on the private deck with romantic lights and outstanding views. Please take care to not leave extra food outside. Our local tiny thieves (raccoons) will help themselves. Enjoy a crackling fire, and smores from our cozy chairs around the large firepit. Sip your coffee from the extra-large private deck in the early mornings. Enjoy quality time together, watching the calming mist come up through the hollow, hovering softly over the trees. Quietly watching for the neighboring deer, headed down the rock paths to the river for a quick drink. We take pride and care to make paths through the grounds, enjoyable for short hikes and strolls. Grab one of the provided walking sticks, wander the natural beauty of the rock and river trails, ensuring adventure. Guest access Privacy and the feeling of lost in the woods are wonderful. Guests have abundant access to the grounds. There is a separate cabin on property that is separately rented or can be rented for events and larger groups. We do expect guest to adhere to adults only use of pool table. Damages will be pursued. Leaning walking sticks are for hiking only. Not stirring of fires. All pets brought are to be under control of owners and never left alone in structure. All pets are to be checked in at time of booking. STRICT NO PETS ON FURNITURE, damages will be pursued. Guests checking out: Remove all things brought in. Trash removed; large bins provided on main road; long term guests note trash pickup is Thursday morning. Anything moved from place moved back. General cleanliness of all surfaces We do our best to conserve where we can. Beds used leave unmade. Towels used gathered to tile floors or laundry room. No fires left smoldering in or out of structures Turn off all lights and room climate control systems. Lock all doors. Septic systems are sensitive so only paper and cleaners provided. Please be aware of all guests on property. The cabin and its surroundings are rented to guests separately. Respect of privacy and noise is always appropriate.
