Post and beam cabin constructed in 2021. Year round availability with access to mountains, streams, lakes and rivers. Cabin is equipped with full kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping area. Fully heated and winterized with additional propane stove for ambiance. Outdoor fire pit with picnic table and charcoal grill. ~5 minute drive to Mt. Abram and ~15 minute drive to Sunday River. The space Studio format with double bed and sleeper sofa Guest access There are two cabins on the property. Each has an independent outdoor area containing a firepit, grill, and picnic table. There is screening between the two houses. Pending calendar availability both cabins can be booked simultaneously to accommodate multiple parties. Events allowed with approval for an additional fee. Other things to note Water is from a well on the property. It does have a distinct mineral smell and taste but has been tested safe. We do provide additional drinking water for this reason. We pay for the fastest WiFi available but it is not high speed by city standards. You may not be able to make a video call etc. Cell phone reception is good. We have the property plowed and sanded after every storm however access is via a narrow step dirt driveway. If you are coming in the winter please be prepared for Maine conditions. There should not be any issues accessing the property with a well-maintained sedan however bald tires and low clearance could pose a problem.
