Rest, relax, and roam around, at this ranch house on a nature sanctuary with a private swimming pond and a cedarwood hot tub from which you can watch the sun set. This is a beautiful spot on 75 acres of land and trails roaming through the woods. We are twenty minutes from Hudson, thirty from Great Barrington, and 15 from Catamount where there is skiing and tubing. In the summer there is lots happening in the area, and we are five minutes from Lake Taghkanic where you can kayak and canoe. The space Three bedroom, 1600 square foot ranch house with a large deck. Watch the sun set from the deck or watch the sun rise from your bed in the master bedroom. There is an open living room/dining/kitchen area with a huge working fireplace and mantle. A large and gorgeous studio with cherrywood floors, an upright piano, and a reading nook. In addition to the master bedroom with a king size bed, there's a daybed room with a single that opens into a king, and a bedroom with a full-size bed. These two bedroom each have sliding doors that open directly onto the deck where the hot tub is. There's also a seasonal outdoor shower. The kitchen is basic, but sweet, with a window above the sink that looks out on the gorgeous wide open fields. Nearby cultural attractions include: Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, and many artistic spots right in Hudson. Winter activities include skiing at nearby Catamount and Butternut Ski Resorts. Cross Country enthusiasts can enjoy skiing at beautiful Taconic State Park which is nearby. There are trails through these woods that get icy and crunchy in the winter. There's also a small stream and a large rock in the woods to climb on.
