Beautiful farm retreat located at Windy Knoll Farmstead, just 15 minutes from Staunton. Farm includes a beautiful home on 40 rolling acres, with access to Middle River, mountain views, and adorable farm animals! Nearby historic Staunton has MBU, museums, shops and more are all in walkable downtown. Want to see the great outdoors? Polyface Farms is a neighbor! Shenandoah NP is a must see as well as the neighboring Blue Ridge Parkway just a short drive away. The space The home has 2 large, updated bedrooms available for travelers or families. The room has a queen bed, dresser, mini refrigerator, tea and coffee, as well as a large closet. There is a full bathroom that’s shared with other guests (when applicable) on the second floor, and a half bath on the first floor. The bedroom has a TV with an Amazon firestick. Guest access Guests have access to much of the rest of the house. Feel free to hang out in the parlor and/or dining room. Limited access/use of the kitchen is ok. Feel free to store any larger food items in fridge that won't fit in the mini fridge in the bedroom or if you'd like to prepare a simple snack. Use of the back deck and covered porch that overlook mountains views is okay too. Use of the washer and dryer is allowed as well. I reserve use of the living room. Other things to note Windy Knoll is an operating farmstead and with that comes animals and wildlife! Feel free to go down to visit the sheep and goats and observe the chickens. Please be respectful of all plants, animals and wildlife while enjoying the property!
