Other things to note It is a short drive to downtown with its unique brew pubs, museums, theaters, Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo Institute of Art and lots of interesting restaurants. Close by is Kalamazoo Valley Community College and more restaurants, pubs, shopping, and grocery stores. Al Sabo Land Preserve has 750 acres with many trails and is about 10 miles away and near Texas Township Park. Pet's are welcome, we do request that you pick up after your pets and do not leave them unattended. The back yard is not fenced. Hot Tub is now available for guest use. You must sign waiver prior to your arrival in order to gain access. Lawn care is done weekly on Wednesdays.
