Maple Tree Lake House on Seymour Lake
Welcome to Maple Tree Lake House! This charming lake house is ready to host you for an inviting stay. Pack your belongings, grab your groceries, and come relax on the peaceful deck or in the private back yard with firepit. The right of way to Lake Seymour is just a short walk from the house where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, or just soaking up the sun! We have high speed Internet for those that need to stay connected. This cozy property is sure to make your stay enjoyable. The space The main space has an eat in kitchen which is open to the living room with beautiful hardwood floors. The main level also has a full bathroom and the primary bedroom with a queen bed. Downstairs is a fully equipped laundry room and a second bedroom with full over full bunk beds as well as the garage. The property is located in a private lake association. Please be respectful of the speed limit on the road of 15MPH. Lots of young kids bike or play near the road. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house. No shared walls or shared living here! You will also enjoy a yard with corn hole, Jenga, and a fire pit! We have a shared ROW to the water with 2 other properties. Please be mindful and respectful of the ROW. Guests are NOT allowed to use the dock as it belongs to multiple properties. Enjoy swimming or kayaking from the shore. We have 4 kayaks at the property and adult size life jackets. We also have 2 kayak carts to help transport the kayaks to the lake access. Kayaks need to be stored at the house, under the deck. Life jackets & transportation carts can be found in the garage. Other things to note This property offers access to Seymour Lake. Seymour is the second largest lake entirely within the state of Vermont at 1732 acres and 167 feet deep of crystal clear water. Seymour is wonderful for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and fishing. Maple Tree Lake House is situated on a private wooded lot surrounded by maple trees. It is only 10-13 miles to Derby & Newport with lots of great restaurants, 26 Miles to Kingdom Trails (Mountain Biking), 32 miles to Jay Peak Resort which has an indoor waterpark, championship golf course, indoor ice arena, indoor climbing center, and more. Other area attractions include local breweries such as Hill Farmstead Brewery, Kingdom Brewery, and Dirt Church Brewing Company. Swing your clubs at Newport, Barton & Orleans Country Clubs. Enjoy lots of amazing hiking & biking, the Newport recreational path, and mountain biking at Memphremagog Trails in Derby.
