This bedroom is located on a separate floor, and is very quite. There's plenty of workspace for the working traveler and a recently renovated, modern bathroom. There is another bedroom across the hall, which is a mirror image of this bedroom. It has an extra-long single bed in it. It is not offered in this listing, but it is also available. The space We live in a very walkable neighborhood and its historic designation comes from the fact that in the late 1800’s, it was among the first planned communities where people would live outside the city and commute downtown, via the streetcar, to work. Guest access It’s our home and we’re very nice people. You’re welcome to enjoy it with us. During your stay We are lifelong Washingtonians and willing to share tips for getting around, exploring DC and places to eat. I also realize that you may not have come to DC to spend your day chatting me up. ;-) We are friendly natives, too. Other things to note We're coffee people with a commercial grade espresso machine (3 group La San Marco). If you are, too, and your schedule permits, I would be glad to get your day going with a nice cappuccino. Our breakfast is a delicious combination of homemade bread, homemade granola and (often homemade) yogurt served with fresh fruit.
