Our B&B is atrium style, built around a laurel tree graced by brick arches and bougainvilleas. This is an unique atmosphere, embracing Southern Baja's agreeable sub-tropical climate. We're located down a sandy road on the edge of a laid back village, a few minutes from solitary beaches and 15 minutes from La Paz’s amazing malecón. The space NO CLEANING FEE OR CHECKOUT DUTIES! This lovely Palapa Casita, Casa Xochitl I, has a huge beautiful attached bathroom with separate walk-in tiled shower and a sweet sitting area with views of the pond. All new quality linens and bedding for a restful night of sleep. The roof is a traditional Palapa (palm fronds weave), so the room doesn’t have air conditioning, but there’s a ceiling and floor fan. Our place is very private and secure with 10' walls completely surrounding us, in a very authentic Mexican neighborhood, suited for the traveler, NOT the tourist, that enjoys experiencing authenticity versus noisy-resort vacations. There are two dining areas, two courtyards, a pond, a cocktail pool and roof top decks for your enjoyment. A full breakfast is served Monday through Saturday mornings at 8:30am before you start your Mexican adventures... you may not want lunch later! Also, we offer beach towels, beach umbrella and chairs, ice chests/coolers, snorkeling gear and yoga mats for your use while staying with us. Our personal service kitchen is not for guests due to its many nuances and lack of space. But we have a small community kitchenette for guests use.; mini fridge, 2 stove top burner, a toaster oven and kitchenware. We appreciate guests respecting this while staying with us. We also offer beach towels, beach umbrella, chairs, ice chests, snorkel gear and yoga mats for your use while staying here. During your stay We will interact as much as guests would like or as little. We are always available for emergencies. Monday through Saturdays: We are available from 7:30am till 11:00am and from 4:00pm till 6:00pm. Sundays: 7:30am till 9:00am. Other things to note Rental car is HIGHLY recommended to best experience all the area has to offer. We live about 3 blocks down a sandy road off 'Mexico 1', about 15 minutes from the Malecon in La Paz. Buses, Rideshares and taxis are also available in the area. We have a small kitchenette available for guest to use but when using it, guest are required to clean it completely each time.
