•Tranquil country setting •Charming cottage •Rural views The space This cottage is ideal for a long weekend escape, and with plenty of activities in the area, it is also a great extended holiday destination. The cottage was built in the 19th century as the Cookhouse, so was home to the person who cooked for all those who lived and worked on the farm. It is set in a garden with a variety of fruit trees, and if you visit in spring the verandah will be draped with the most magnificent wisteria. The cottage is spacious with a huge kitchen, a Kent fire and an open fire. We are located less than 15 minutes from Feilding, about 10 minutes from Bulls, and about 25 minutes from Palmerston North. Manfeild in Feilding is only around 15 kilometres away. Ideal location for those going to the Central Districts Field Days. There is a golf course about 6 kilometres away. Both Bulls and Sanson offer fantastic antique shops and cafes and are within a 5 - 10 minute drive. Mt Lees Reserve is close by and has a 1-2 km well-maintained track through native bush.
