From the cabin, you can hike directly into the National Park without having to drive in. If you chose to drive to the Beaver Meadows entrance station it is only 5 minutes away. The retreat is located in a historic area of Estes Park where other houses and cabins are not crowding each other. The kitchen is fully equipped if you choose to cook at home. Some highlights about the property: The living room is inviting with variety of comfortable seating options, a gas fireplace, and a large flat-screen wifi TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator, gas range, a large sink and everything you need to prepare meals at home. There is a dining area that seats four, perfect for family meals, a romantic dinner, and game night. The bathroom includes a claw-foot soaking tub with shower and plush linens. We do provide a stepstool if needed. The cabin has a separate bedroom with a king bed and linens for a comfortable night’s sleep. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room with linens provided. The cabin can sleep up to 4 people. There is a large outdoor area with a gas firepit, propane grill and space for outdoor dining area. At night, gather around the firepit and toast marshmallows while stargazing. (propane provided for grill, firepit is automatic) Whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway, some solo time, a family vacation, or a place to reconnect with friends, Rocky Retreat EP has everything you need for a memorable and relaxing retreat with mountain amenities while retaining its mountain charm. Guest access During your stay, you will have access to the cabin, porches, yard, and carport. There is a small locked shed for the owners. Other things to note Rocky Retreat uses a cistern which is a fancy word for refillable well on site. We ask that you help us conserve water as much as possible. Filtered water is available through the kitchen sink. There is a washer and dryer on site and can be accessed for a fee. The cabin has a gas fireplace with a on/off wall switch for easy control. The cabin does have an outdoor gas fire pit and we ask that you stay with the fire when it is on. There is a wifi TV and access to Netflix, and Amazon Prime and you can login to your own device if desired.
